Director's Message

Dear Friends, Colleagues & Partners

The Primary Care Academy (PCA) was established in April 2007 to meet the professional training needs of primary healthcare professionals in Singapore and the region. It has a faculty of dedicated trainers and facilitators who are senior healthcare practitioners with a wealth of experience in the delivery and management of community healthcare. The Academy also reaches out to the public and corporate sector through its community-centred health promotion talks and workshops.

Over the past 3 years, PCA has been accredited by the National Resuscitation Council as the training provider for the Basic Cardiac Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation courses. It is also the Approved Training Organisation for the Workplace Development Agency, conducting accredited courses.

Through its bimonthly e-newsletter, Plexus, PCA continues to remain connected with many general practitioners, nurses and allied healthcare professionals both in the private and public healthcare sectors in the community.

I sincerely hope that PCA continues to be a partner in your learning journey as a healthcare provider or simply to help you to take better care of your own health.
